Filipinos shouldn’t be too forgiving

In a news posting at the Inquirer.net, Canadian envoy Peter Sutherland said that Filipinos cannot improve their economy because “Some people do have the tendency to have [a] crab mentality….” (2007, Inquirer) He suggests that they should be motivated to aspire for more and desire for success.
