Too Lazy

I got a few questions. I got more but I can’t remember them all. Plus, I’m too lazy to answer them for myself right now.

In Lifestyle
What is the most commonly used color for curtains?
What would have happened if the iPhone never existed?
What TV station showcases the most number of commercials during “peak hours”?

In Sports
What if LeBron James went to the Washington Wizards?
Do you know why Vince Carter ’s offensive game is returning to a perimeter type game?
What would happen if the 76ers won the 2008 playoffs?
What ever happened to Keith Van Horn?
Does Robert Horry still have “the touch”?

In Entertainment
Did Tom Hanks and Al Pacino appear in a movie together?
Who is the oldest actor/actress in Hollywood?
How long until all the comic book characters become movie icons?

Reader vs Blogger

A huge difference between a reader and a blogger

The blogger, unlike the reader, cannot stay fully anonymous which can be used against him/her.

Another Short Course

Right now, I’m trying to find a short course in Photoshop to improve my “artistic skills” or at least what’s left of it.  If you know any good school in Cebu, please comment and let me know.

Oh, and I’m in a mind slump right now.  Hope I snap out of it soon.

Siquijor Trip

Poof!

A few days ago, I visited the small city of Siquijor to join the annual Philippine Physics Society Convention held in Siquijor State College along with my 12 physics peeps. What I remembered most on the trip was the trip itself. Just getting to the destination for an hour felt like forever (and I had my plastic ready too). It wasn’t the prettiest sight, but I’m happy friends were there to help me.

The convention was nice but I would have had enjoyed it more if there was more time to rest. The moment we got there, lectures were already scheduled in the afternoon and an evening program that made me feel so sleepy. In one afternoon, there was the trekking tour that took the whole afternoon to finish. The sights were amazing and I can truly say it was a “trekking” experience. The evening shows were fine and fun especially the show that they organized for us where they had the unforgettable “sabong on stage” presentation. Oh, and Mr. and Ms. PPS was around too but I didn’t stay long to watch it.

I can say that the citizens of Siquijor are very hospitable. They came to our needs and catered to them well. The food was great and I had a wonderful time. By the time the convention was over, it seemed that time flew by so fast. We were already packing our bags and going home.

Thank you to the organizers and the volunteers of the event who made the entire thing wholesome. Thank you to our professor, Dr. Bandal, for her support, and for the invitations by Dr. Maxino. Thank you so much. You have brought more than memories to me. You gave me wisdom.

I hope to join the next PPS convention!
