Pang i-sports pa!
After four weeks, my OJT/internship finally ended. Meeting the minimum number of hours (120) swooped by quicker than I expected (even after exceeding the requirement) because I did enjoy myself being exposed to the “real world” and what it has to offer (and I’m telling you now, it is really tough). I’d be really lucky happy if I would be offered a job when I graduate next year. However, if there would be none, then I’ll do plan i, plan pt-j, and plan us.
A 5-hour remedial car driving sessions gave me a refreshing feeling of “the clutch” and the 10-2 position and after watching PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) today, it reminded me of how difficult (and easy) it is driving a car. They made the same mistakes I did when I first started. But with soaring gas prices, I doubt I’d be making more mistakes on a car for now. Oh, and PBB housemate Beauty was amazing! She knew what was inside the boxed reward by simply sniffing it (or maybe she was told not to shake it then she sniffed it?).
Got a new motorcycle. 150cc, sports bike, yellow & red, Lifan engine. That’s all.
What the heck will be my thesis?!? I still haven’t deicded.
Common Sense… Duh?
Have you ever encountered an incident where someone told you “this and that“ were plain common sense?
One morning during a group discussion in class, we talked about what to teach little children and the methods of doing so. We came to the topic of courtesy and while discussing the basics of home etiquette and grooming, eventually one member said, “That’s just common sense.”
It is common sense for us but is it common sense for the children?
A column related to common sense, “Science Confirms the Obvious”, is a great place to seek an answer (or answers) as to why science continues to do research on what-seemed-to-already-be-explained-by-logic-and-common-sense-captain-smarty-pants. [ Link ]
Driving: 2nd Hour
I got a lot more NIs than I expected where most of them never really existed but gave the score to me anyway. Not that they really matter. Or do they?
My last three days of OJT. I end on Wednesday. Thursday, I process my certificate.
Oh, and Psych, a TV series about a “psychic detective” who’s just very good at observation, is a great show. I watch it whenever its on.
My grammar, spelling, and general English are dropping. I need to jog that memory. Hah.. Jog (SE music phones?). A term I don’t find familiar anymore. And no, I won’t WIKI it or go to dictionary sites.
PS. I got a lot of stuff toys. Want some?

==========
Today, I had a lot of fun riding a 150cc bike. I never realized driving a motorcycle with a clutch could be slightly difficult (okay, it was harder than it looked). 2 hours of practice later, no-how brake properly. I’m sleepy.
Oh, and I started driving school today (sedans, not bikes). The entire 1-hour session experience in two words: language gap
I need to develop some muscle.

Around a hundred dogs were given free anti-rabies shots in Sogo, Cebu City through an outreach program held by the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (Central Visayas). What they noted as important was not only the free vaccination but the education of the disease and more to the owner.
