Nokia E63 (Poor audio quality = FIXED)

Nokia E63 screenshot taken from Nokia site

A cheaper alternative compared to the Nokia E71 business phone model is the Nokia E63. Perhaps the build made it a bit cheaper but most of the features remain the same. But one problem I encountered after two months or so was poor audio quality coming from the speaker especially during voice calls. So I visited the Nokia store and had it fixed. I thought they were going to charge me for the repair since I forgot to bring my warranty card. But hey, this phone is new. It was released late 2008, like in September or something. So any Nokia E63 phone that Nokia stores handle should be within the warranty period… well, until September or something. My phone was under warranty and I got it after two days. Now, the phone works like a charm!

Local Mangoes (Dumaguete City)

My undergraduate thesis involved a lot of mango samples (42 samples to be exact) and here are some of the mango varieties commonly sold in Dumaguete City which I also used in my study.

Thesis

cal-tuod1w

D-Day. Or should I say Defense-Day.

#4. I was the fourth person to defend my thesis. However, since some teachers and majors were late, I had to go first. I’m not sure how well I did. It completely caught me by surprise. “Are you ready with your presentation?” I couldn’t say no. I was ready but wanted a little more prep time.

Mangoes are messy to experiment with. When they’re wet, things get really yellow… and wet. The drying process was another story. When trying to dry a [very] ripe mango, it stinks–especially the “Russian” mango.

Just a little more and this will be over. By then, a new chapter will unfold.
