I checked my email today to find out someone started following my blog. I click on it and WOW, immediately I noticed the URL to be different. It was TumblrLOGIN.com. After a short google search, it doesn’t really exist. I inputted fake emails and passwords and I was brought to my preference page (I was logged into Tumblr before I visited the phishing site).
Take care guys! Don’t fall for stuff like these! If you have the time, SPAM them too with fake emails and passwords.
UPDATE–2: If you have been phished, login to your email address and change the password of your email address immediately (especially if they’re the same as your Tumblr account). Then go back to Tumblr and request a new password (likely by clicking Forgot your Password) Also, there are several Tumblr peeps who know how to deal with this more. Below are the links. If you don’t trust me or the links, don’t click and do a Google search to be sure.

UPDATE: The phishers have taken the site down… but that doesn’t mean they won’t come back for they will. Stay vigilant, and keep your eyes up that URL bar when you’re asked to login.

Hey, just to add a heads up. I got sent to the same website. Nothings there now, but I wouldn’t put it past them to try to attach something nasty in the form of scripts or something. Fortunately I use different passwords for my shopping and banking, so I only have to change the tumblr pw.
I got a new follower and I noticed the url said Tumblrlogin.com and some numbers/letters or w/e behind it.
Nothing showed up on the site, it was just a blank page that said servers are not connected or something… What does that mean?
And should I change my pass because I visited that page??
If you use Firefox, go to Help > Report Web Forgery and be sure to report and pages like this to Google as soon as you see it. This is back up and running right now, but Google should block the entire domain.
This just happened to me, tumblrlogin.com has not been taken down as of june 25th 5:23pm.
The same happened to me just now, the page said “adult content please login”, I didn’t notice at the time the strange url, and then logged in, then the preferences page loaded (can’t remember if it was with the phishing url)
Anyway I changed the password just in case…
Damn spam.
When do you think I shall be able to get on my blog and customize it again? because it wont let me, nor let my friends look at my blog. I’m really upset. ):
omg i have it… what do i do now?? please help omfg -.-”’
How did you fix it? Is it possible?
So… My tumblr got spammed, what do I do?
The phishing site still exists, as I found out this morning.
True that! Thanks :]
Oh, I got that too.. I didn’t really thought and entered valid password and email.. So, I changed my password.. I should seriously be more careful.. :/
I just found this site too. I was dumb enough to enter my info again :X but I quickly changed my tumblr password
I got one too yesterday. I clicked on the new follower and it brought me to the login page. It looked odd because it said something about adult content. I didn’t enter my login credentials. I typed in the username of that follower along with .tumblr.com/archive in the address bar and it brought up user posts like anyones archive would. It seemed like a regular user, I think their account was hacked too. Anyway, I already was fed up with Tumblr before that happened so I just deleted the account lol.
You may want to access your Email account provided it has a different password to your tumblr account. You must get access to your email account then to a lost password/request new one from Tumblr.
I don’t blame you for falling for the phishing scam. We really can’t keep our guard up all the time when using the net. The best security though is to have a different password from your email to your social networking sites/blogs/etc. For your email, use a really strong password with letters, numbers, and symbols.
